Who trains the Peer Leaders – What is a Master Trainer?

Master Trainers are certified to train Peer Leaders. They can also lead workshops.

Master Trainers:

• May be volunteers or healthcare providers
• Have experience living with a chronic condition or support someone with a chronic condition.
• Use self management skills in their own lives
• Act as peers when leading workshop, not as health experts.
